| Shipping Policy
After you place your order, we take great care in getting your chocolates to their destination in perfect condition. Generally we ship Monday through Wednesday. We discourage shipping orders on Thursday in case there are problems along the route.
Please acknowledge the following:
We strongly encourage that someone be available to accept the package at the time of delivery. If not, it is understood that chocolate left outside can become damaged. We cannot take responsibility if this unfortunate situation occurs.
FedEx does not ship to P.O. boxes so we will need a street address to deliver a package. If there is a suite number, apartment number, or building number, please include that on the order form
In warm weather (April through September) 2-Day shipping is the minimum. You may use ground service if you are within two day service from our shipping location. Please see the shipping map below. If you have a question about what delivery, please contact us.
When the weather is warm, we use insulated packaging and gel packs. There is an additional charge of $4.00 to cover the cost of these items.
Although we will make our best effort, Chatham's Fine Chocolates can not guarantee a delivery date beyond what our shipping provider states. If you have a specific need, please contact us to discuss.
It can take us at least one day, but usually no more than two days, to ship your package. If you need to have your package sent outside that window, please contact us. The website enables you to select a specific delivery date; we will work to meet that need, within the constraints of our shipper.
We are not responsible for packages that are returned as undeliverable due to incorrect address or packages damaged due to recipients not being home. If a package needs to be re-sent, separate charges will apply.
Finally, we are not responsible for shipping delays due to weather, strike, or any circumstances beyond our control.
